NOJ= WOW!

What a great time we had Friday at Night Of Joy!  The band did an AMAZING job!!  I hope that they are reading this- I am so very proud of you all!!  The effort that you put into the songs was evident- as was the fact that you love God and you love using your talents for His glory.  I think that you are incredible and I love playing with you!!  Ashley Berry- you are absolutely beautiful!  I think the world of you!

I read a book recently written by one of my musical heroes and the last part of the book was an incredible story about a trip that she took to Rwanda.  Upon reaching their hotel she was swarmed by children and young adults calling out to her, 'Mumma, Mumma you came'.  While speaking to them she learned that someone in their orphanage had played her music to these precious young ones when they were without a family.  She had sung them to sleep every night with words of hope and life.

Every choice that we make has the opportunity to influence the younger generation- either for the good or for the worse.  For me I want to live a life poured out in service to my Daddy God that encourages, inspires and sets up the next generation to succeed.

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing let me tell you this- that I love you, I believe in you and even more so, there is a God who is always for you.  He always thinks the best of you and has only good things for you.

May we, as His Church, always fully rely on His Grace to strengthen and equip us to resource the generations that follow us.  Let's do it- whatever it takes- to raise up, cheer on, and pass on everything that we know to the next generation.

With Much Love for You and Hope for the Future,

   ~Jessie

Ephesians 3:20-21, "God can do anything, you know-far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!  He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.  Glory to God in the church!  Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!  Glory down all generations!  Glory through all millenia! Oh, yes!" (The Message)
